Jen was actually devfu’s very first employee when the company was founded in 2009 and was instrumental in devfu’s original growth and success. Devfu Africa

Devfu is expanding to Africa!

We have currently engaged the services of skilled salesman Martin Mutandwa to expand LineupBoard to mining Operations in South Africa. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to expand beyond the borders of Australia and help people in other countries. We have already established contact with operations in South Africa and hope to have a LineupBoard instance running in the country before the end of the year.

LineupBoard Updates

LineupBoard Release 2026.1 contains the following updates:

These updates are all covered by the support and maintenance component of your annual licence fee, so they will be at no cost to you.

Product Spotlight

Devfu.one

Devfu’s next-gen platform devfu.one is progressing well and some modules will be available in early stages very soon.

Shift Planning - currently in development with Rolleston Coal with a planned test deployment. The shift planning module is an updated and expanded version of the original LineupBoard shift planning tool. The module will work in tandem with leave management to allow operations to be planned at the shift-level and also up to a yearly level.

Leave Management - devfu.one’s leave management module will give workers the ability to apply for and approve leave. Leave Management works with shift planning to provide greater information regarding worker allocations and availability.

Unassigned Resources Dashboard

The Unassigned Resources Dashboard (URD) was created to track and notify when workers are not currently assigned to equipment and equipment that is not being used. URD was able to provide great value in its first installation while also being refined as the operators gave us feedback on how to improve its usefulness.

URD saw great success in its first implementation and now is expanding to more operations.

2026 CPI Increases

To manage the growing difference between licence revenue and wages, we decided to implement annual increases to the price of our licences in accordance with March CPI. That way we’re not profiteering, we’re just passing on the increases of life with an objective 3rd party measure, and the timing gives us enough time to communicate to our clients about the updated prices.

Devfu Roadmap

Looking ahead to 2026 devfu’s main focus is developing and testing our new flagship product devfu.one. There is still a lot of work to be done on the modules but we are looking forward to deploying shift planning and leave management into real operations for testing very soon.

On top of this we are also focused on expanding our operations into other countries like Brazil and South Africa. Both of these projects are still in their early phases but are progressing very well. We hope this will eventually provide 24/7 support for all our clients as we begin operating in multiple different timezones.
